The application is ongoing at The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the scheme is offering a jointly funded scholarship to obtain a Ph.D. degree at a German university or research institute for all the subject areas.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in partnership with the Ministry of Education & Scholarships Secretariat is inviting applications to pursue doctoral training programs. Ghanaians are eligible for this scholarship, and it will be taken in Germany.
An applicant should be a first Degree holder with 2nd Class Upper division or First Class and should have a National Service certificate and should not be over 45 years of age and also should learn the German Language.
Worth of the Scholarship are: Full Scholarship for the duration of the Ph.D. studies (max. 45 months), Travel costs, Preparatory German Language course of 6 months, Annual study and research allowance, Full Health, personal liability and accident insurance cover, Further individual allowances on application
The candidates shall submit a complete application comprising Application Form, CV (See Template), Abstract of the research proposal, two academic reference letters from university professors, an Invitation letter from the German Supervisor OR admission letter for a Ph.D. degree program, and academic certificates.
